Couldn’t we do all this on our own?

So, why have the companies that have recognized the need to develop their people not created a long-term solution?

It can be developed, however it's a matter of having the time and the resources.  It does a take huge amount of focused energy, but most of that energy goes into running and growing a business, not developing training programs.

Experience shows it just doesn’t get done - the demands of the core business take too much time and effort as it should. However, the development of a sustainable business requires the on-going recruitment and development of people, not just the acquisition and servicing of customers.

What do you think it would cost to do this on your own?  Got a number?  Now double or triple that when opportunity costs are considered; time away from your core duty of caring for your customers and employees.

SECorps dedicates the time, money and resources to create and implement the very best people development programs.

We're currently a member of a service franchise organization.  Can we belong to SECorps too?

If you're happy with your current franchise relationship, SECorps is not for you.  However, many of the SECorps Associate companies were formerly involved in a franchise organization and have found that the franchise practices, while having helped them to grow their business initially, had become a limiter to grow either in the development of their people or in geographic expansion.

We're currently a member of other industry organizations.  Can we belong to SECorps too?

Absolutely, many of our Associate companies are also members of MSCA, ACCA, etc.

How does SECorps differ from a peer group?

Peer groups typically focus only on the sharing of best practices, typically at the management level.

In addition to their involvement in training, SECorps Associate companies share not only best practices, but detailed financial, operational, sales and marketing information.  SECorp’s Forums provide an interactive dialogue that moves beyond the numbers and truly into what is working and what could be better.

How does SECorps know what to develop?

We continually listen to our Associate companies and based upon their combined feedback, we develop new programs, etc. to help them to continually improve and grow their businesses.

If I become a SECorps Associate company, will I have a “protected territory”?

The SECorps Associate companies understand and accept that being associated with the very best companies in this industry will result in some geographic overlap.  There are no “protected territories” at SECorps.

Should we join SECorps, how long is the commitment?

The initial term is three years followed by successive three year terms.

How does SECorps get paid?

There is an initiation fee and an on-going annual fee which includes participation in as many workshops as desired.

How can we explore becoming a SECorps Associate?

Contact David Paull, the President and discuss with him the goals and objectives for your organization.  He will be able to help you determine if SECorps is a fit for your company.
